IUD and Magnetic Resonance

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a test that is done on a large device that uses a magnetic field and energy pulses of radio waves to make pictures of the organs and structures inside the abdomen. Preparing For This Test

There is no need to some special preparation for this test. You need to change your regular clothes and have to wear a gown before you lie down on that bed for the test. However, sometimes the patients are given intravenous (IV) contrast liquid injection to get a clearer image of particular body tissues.
